Privacy Policy
Insight (the “Integration”) is a developer-operated application for connecting a professional Instagram account to tools that help the account owner view and manage authorized Instagram activity. For privacy requests, contact vl_ktk@icloud.com.
1. Information we process
Depending on which features the account owner uses and which permissions are granted, the Integration may access or process:
- Instagram account identifiers, username, profile information and account type.
- Media IDs, captions, timestamps, links, and published posts or Reels.
- Account and media analytics, such as views, reach, interactions and viewing time.
- Comments and their associated public usernames, identifiers, content, and timestamps.
- Instagram Direct conversations, messages and participant identifiers, only when available through authorized API access.
- Information supplied for requested publishing, comment replies or Direct messages.
- Technical information needed to operate and secure the Integration, such as access credentials, authentication records and operational logs.
2. Purposes and legal basis
We use information solely to provide functionality initiated or authorized by the connected account owner, operate the Integration, handle requests, troubleshoot errors, and protect the service against misuse. Where required by law, processing is based on permission/consent, performance of a requested service, or legitimate operational and security interests.
3. How the Integration works
The Integration uses Meta's Instagram APIs to access information covered by the permissions granted for the connected account. It can expose permitted operations to an authorized AI assistant or connected client, such as ChatGPT, when the account owner chooses to use that client. Actions that change Instagram content or send messages are intended to be performed only following user authorization.
4. Storage, recipients, and security
Cloudflare infrastructure may be used to host the Integration, handle requests and store encrypted or protected application settings and credentials. Information processed via ChatGPT or other authorized clients may also be subject to those services' separate privacy policies and retention settings. We do not sell Instagram user data or use it for unrelated advertising. We apply reasonable technical and organizational protections, including access controls and keeping API credentials out of public pages.
5. Retention
Information is retained only as needed to provide the authorized functionality, meet applicable legal requirements, and maintain security or operational records. The Integration may process data without retaining a permanent copy. The exact retention period depends on the data category and the third-party systems used. Copies held independently by Meta, ChatGPT, or other providers are governed by those providers' policies.
6. Your choices and rights
You may stop using the Integration and withdraw app access using Instagram/Meta account settings where available. You may request access, correction or deletion of information controlled by this Integration by emailing vl_ktk@icloud.com. Please identify the Instagram username associated with your request; we may need to verify account ownership before processing it. For instructions see Data Deletion Instructions.
7. International processing
Service providers may process information in countries other than the one in which you live. We take applicable legal requirements into account when using service providers.
8. Children
This Integration is not intended for use by children under the applicable minimum age for Instagram or other connected services.
9. Updates
We may update this policy as the Integration changes. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are made. Please contact vl_ktk@icloud.com with questions.
